Jianwei Pan leads the research at the Institute of Natural Sciences, WIAS.

In the first phase (2016-2018), Institute of Natural Sciences plans to establish Physics, including Optics, Electronic Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Atomic and Molecular Physics, Theoretical Physics, etc. Math, including Number Theory, Algebra, Geometry, Partial Differential Equations and Functional Analysis. Chemistry, including Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Applied Chemistry.
